In Georges division he is undoubtedly dominant. Every person that was supposed to come up to be a rising star and beat him was crushed. Crosby is amazing but there are still others like Olvechkin that you could say are better then him.

Congrats! You're both outstanding athletes. I love both sports, but by far you brought UFC/MMA to the forefront and made the people sit up and think, hey this guy's actually pretty darn good! And then when Hughes beat you - you came back stronger, faster and a much better athlete. I enjoy watching you and your techniques; wish I could fight like that some sunny day. everyone knows that you are the best in the sport. the sprot that is not popular in canada. crosby is the best in the sport that is the biggest thing throughout canada and that is what everyone is going to see. but the real people that have watched you with religiously will know who deserves it more. im not saying that crosby doesnt deserve this honor because he is worthy to be in the talk against you. he is a dominant force in his sport just like you. the real reason he doesnt deserve it is that he isnt GSP thats about it. whoever wins will deserve to win but we all know who the real athlete of the year is.

Sid the kid's not a nobody;he is actually the best hockey player in the world(some peoples wont agree,but,hey,that's my opinion).And hockey being the most popular sport in Canada...Crosby did start with an advance!
So,you Georges,just the fact that you are being compare with him(when we know that MMA's not even close to be mainstreim in Canada!),we all know you are the best!
